The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. Meyler replaced P. Byrnes on Whateys Quest, trained by C.Byrnes (Race 5)(Stood down).
377A Irish Stallion Farms EBF H'cap H'dle
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Serienmond (GER), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have sustained an injury to its right hind stifle area.
377B Irish Stallion Farms EBF H'cap H'dleS.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Heliko Conti (FR), trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran short of room at the back of the second last.
Sam Ewing, rider of Mavetherave, trained by W.R. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount wandered under pressure.
M.P. O'Connor, rider of Imperial Miss, trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was short of room at the back of the second last.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after the second last flight involving Beckistine, ridden by D. King, unplaced, Heliko Conti (FR), ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe, unplaced, Mavetherave, ridden by Sam Ewing, unplaced, Imperial Miss, ridden by M. P. O'Connor, unplaced, and From The Ashes, ridden by D. Meyler, placed sixth, where it appeared Heliko Conti ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. King stated that he received pressure from the inside. S. F. O'Keeffe stated that it closed in from both sides and he had to take back. Sam Ewing stated that his mount went left but made no contact. M. P. O'Connor stated that he received pressure from the outside. D. Meyler stated that his mount went both ways from the whip and wandered around a lot. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found both S. Ewing and D. Meyler were in breach of Rule 214 in that they had ridden carelessly. Having considered D. Meyler's record in this regard (third offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended D. Meyler for eight racedays. Having considered S. Ewing's record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended S. Ewing for two racedays.
377C Irish Stallion Farms EBF H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales that D.G. Whelan, rider of Elusive Prince, had presented to weigh out at 2.9 lbs overweight, none of which had been declared at declaration time. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he has no problem doing this weight, having recently done lighter, and today's error was a genuine mistake. Evidence was also heard from James M Barcoe, Trainer of Elusive Prince, who confirmed that he was happy for the rider to put up the overweight. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards allowed D. G. Whelan to take up the ride but they were satisfied that D. G. Whelan was in breach of Rule 198 and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) The Raceday Stewards fined D. G. Whelan €150 on this occasion.
P. M. O'Brien, rider of Brianna Lily, trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed S.R Markey, rider of Found A Diamond, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S. R. Markey was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended S. R. Markey for five racedays.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Themanintheboots, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
